Hoskins starts his speech. "Before I begin, there is something I have to disclose," he says....
"As the youngest of five children, there are very few pictures of me" (the video prior to his speech showed him in Santa costume).
Hoskins is a doctor and the co-founder of War Child Canada. In 2008 he received the Order of Canada for his humanitarian work. He's lived in the Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Sierra Leone, Iraq, Burundi, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
"We are 105 delegates strong and we might surprise you," Hoskins says.
Hoskins says he's an ALL-CAPS LIBERAL. Has supporters shout it. Even a digital sign displays it, in red letters of course, "ALL-CAPS LIBERAL." Refers to the next leader as a "she."
Hoskins finished his speech. The candidates are done with their speeches. David Peterson is now taking the stage.
Peterson was the 20th Premier of Ontario from 1985 to 1990. He was the first Liberal premier of Ontario in 42 years.
Peterson starts his speech by complimenting McGuinty. "He made us all proud to be Liberal."
