Looking forward to your reports, Neil. We'll also be hearing from Hayley Zimak in #kitcon, Blair Adams in #kitwat and Erin Lemieux in #guelph. I'll be in-studio following the results -- and your tweets and comments here -- with 570's Gary Doyle.
Lights just came on in the Rogers TV studio. That means 1) the start of the show is getting closer and 2) I can stop typing in the dark. Less than 90 minutes to air. The Local Results.
Polls in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI have just closed.
Just over an hour until the polls close here in Waterloo Region. Anyone have predictions? Here's mine: Kitchener-Centre will be the closest local race this year, not Kitchener-Waterloo. In 2008, Kitchener-Waterloo was decided by just 17 votes as Peter Braid beat incumbent Andrew Telegdi. Kitchener-Centre was decided by 339 as Stephen Woodworth beat incumbent Karen Redman. This time around, the Redman-Woodworth race will be the nail-biter. Is that going out on enough of a limb? :)
Welcome aboard, Kerri-Ann. Thanks for joining our coverage tonight...and I think you're right!
